Our latest case study focuses on an engagement working with a customer who tests the insulation characteristics of electrical components. This customer required a compact relay inside the test equipment that exceeded the electrical specifications of the components being tested in an incredibly small package.
Standex Electronics stepped up to meet the challenge, providing a 5 kV AC (7kV peak) one minute withstand voltage in a 30 mm long reed relay. The new reed relay included two reed switches internally connected in series.
