Die SMP-38 Photo-MOSFET Relais sind Halbleiterrelais mit einer Schaltleistung von bis zu 600 V Wechselstrom oder Spitzengleichstrom, in einem SOP (Small Out-Line), SMD (Surface Mounted Device) oder DIP (Dual In-Line) Gehäuse. Die Relais verfügen über eine geringe Ausgangskapazität von 47 pF und einem niedrigen Off-State Leckstrom im ausgeschalteten Zustand von 1 μA. Kein Kontaktprellen, schnelles Schalten, schmutzundurchlässig, geräuscharm, sowie stoß- und vibrationsfest sind dabei die wichtigsten Merkmale und Eigenschaften. Durch den konstanten On-Widerstand und die lange Lebensdauer eignen sich die SMP-38 Photo-MOSFET Relais ideal für die verschiedensten Anwendungen.

Hardly anyone thought reed relays were capable of switching and carrying RF up to 20 GHz, because the reed switch's leads are composed of nickel/iron which has a relatively high permeability or (MU).
