The 525-..-0-i and 535-..-0-i optocoupler series serve as galvanic isolation of intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits within devices which are installed outside an explosive area.
Either the emitter circuit or the detector circuit can be connected with the intrinsically safe circuit.
