Solid state reliability with low power consumption in environmentally isolated package
Cincinnati, OH — June 17, 2015 — Standex Electronics, a manufacturer of precise, reliable, and long-lasting miniature switches, sensors and relays, announces a new range of micro-power Hall Effect sensors, which offer solid state reliability, low power consumption, and consistent activation points over a wide temperature range in a rugged and environmentally isolated package.
These new micro-power versions operate on 3V battery supplies requiring an average supply current of only 5 microamps (μA), which compares to an industry average of 5 milliamps (mA). Several models are available, ranging in size from the MH04 (with a width of 24 millimeters) and the MH21 (28.6 mm). In addition, Standex Electronics specializes in customizing designs to specific customer needs. The new range of Hall Effect sensors are available with a variety of custom options, including various outputs (switch, latch), high temperature options, as well as custom package designs.
