Capabilities & Solutions – KSK‐1A35/1 Series (10.5mm) Miniature High Voltage Reed Switch
The all new KSK‐1A35/1 reed switch series is available in a contact form 1A (SPST) (normally open contact), center gap and comes in an operating sensitivity range of 20‐35 Ampere‐turns (AT). This miniature KSK‐1A35/1 model has a maximum glass length of 10.5 mm, a maximum glass diameter of 2.2mm and an overall lead length of 34.5mm. The specific flat lead design allows for paddle‐orientation and excellent surface mount behaviors.
This KSK‐1A35/1 offers excellent electrical characteristics with zero to 10 VA of rated power, switching voltage of zero to 1000 volts of direct or alternating current (VDC/VAC) and switching current max of 0.7 amps (A) or carry current max of 1.25 amps (A). Furthermore, it has contact capacitance of less than 0.3pf, minimum insulation resistance of 10^9 ohms (Ω) and breakdown voltage of 1500 VDC (@20AT) across the contacts as well as a 150 milliohms (mΩ) contact resistance.
Typical operating and release times are 0.5 milliseconds and 0.2 milliseconds (ms) respectively. Its operating temperature ranges from ‐40°C to 125°C and can be stored a temperature range of ‐50°C to 155°C.
